How long does the drunk effect last?
And does it differ from drink to drink?
Asking because I want to maintain Drunken Master |

If I recall, a level 1 drink will give you the drunk effect for 1 minute and a level 5 will do 3 minutes. It's only about 3 minutes after you drink the last one though - not cumulative. That is, if you use up say, 20 drinks quickly by clicking them rapidly, the drunk effect will only last for 3 minutes after the last one is clicked.
You can turn off the 'drunk effect' by going into Options/Graphics and turning off 'Post Processing Effects'. |

For the purposes of Drunken Master etc, I believe Level 5 alcohol should last 5 minutes:
They take you straight to the maximum level5, and you lose a level every minute. Aged Dwarven Ale Aged Hunter's Ale Bottle of Grog Flask of Firewater Keg of Aged Hunter's Ale Krytan Brandy Spiked Eggnog You only get 3 drunkard points each from them though - a throwback to the time when you had to reach drunk level 3 before gaining any title points at all from alcohol. All the other types of alcohol are "level 1", and boost the skills for 1 minute. |

Thanks sexy.
All I'm drinking now is Hunter's Ale and drinking one doesn't give me any effects at all which I was hoping for so at least I'll know when I'm drunk or sober. Is Hunter's Ale weak shit or something to not give me any effects? |

You will see a different "keg" animation when use Drunken Master - the keg "wobbles" if the skill is being boosted by alcohol. |

You'll answer most of your questions by just reading this.
There are five stages of being drunk with stronger screen changing effects at each stage. As Hunter's Ale is only a level 1 alcohol, consuming just one will leave you with the most minor effect. Drinking many at a time will give you a stronger reaction. |

You can run this ... http://guildwarsholland.nl/drunkard_timer.php ... program in
the background and in will sound a tone remind you it's time to drink again. I found it here in the Community Works forum. It was a great help to me in making practical use of my drinking time. The tone sounds every one or three minutes. |

You don't need any timers anymore unless you are using the alcohol with skills and want to know when it ends. Alcohol is spammable and doesn't need to be timed for the drunkard title.
